Simple terms for a simple split.

These terms govern use of the Divendo mobile app, shared split rooms, and Divendo Plus.

Use of Divendo

Divendo helps a group calculate and communicate reimbursement amounts. You are responsible for reviewing receipt details and confirming the final amounts before requesting or sending money.

No money movement

Divendo does not hold funds, process peer-to-peer transfers, or guarantee payment. It may open a third-party payment app with a suggested amount, but the transaction occurs entirely through that third party.

Receipt accuracy

OCR and Smart Scan can make mistakes. Divendo provides editing and reconciliation warnings, but you must verify items, quantities, discounts, tax, tips, currency, and totals before sharing a split.

Temporary links

Anyone with an active split link may be able to view and claim items in that room. Share links only with intended participants. Rooms expire after 48 hours and are not intended as permanent financial records.

Divendo Plus

Plus is an auto-renewable subscription billed by Apple. The price and billing period shown by the App Store control. You can manage or cancel through your Apple subscription settings. Access may end when a subscription expires, is refunded, or is revoked.

Acceptable use

Do not use Divendo to commit fraud, misrepresent debts, harass others, probe the service, bypass limits, upload unlawful material, or interfere with another group’s split.

Availability

The service is provided as available. Features may change, and temporary outages may occur. Local manual entry remains the fallback when scanning or online services are unavailable.
